Hints:

  • Currently, this search engine only searches HTML & XML files (web pages) and PDF documents. It will not search the contents of zip files (although the file name may come up in the search results), image files, and other "support" files used to display and format web pages. The other thing it won't do is search the web calendar since each month is dynamically generated from a database. Some of this is deliberate to try and keep the results meaningful, some is the limitation of the search engine.
  • All searches are "real-time". You are not searching a cached database of keywords that may be days or even weeks old. The search engine searches through pages/files as they exist on this site right now. As a result you may have to wait a few seconds (I've timed it at 8-10 for a search of our main site) while hundreds of files are searched.
